Hey Leute,

The iPhone Moment of AI
NVIDIA’s technologies are fundamental to AI, with Huang recounting how NVIDIA was there at the very beginning of the generative AI revolution. Back in 2016 he hand-delivered to OpenAI the first NVIDIA DGX AI supercomputer — the engine behind the large language model breakthrough powering ChatGPT.
Launched late last year, ChatGPT went mainstream almost instantaneously, attracting over 100 million users, making it the fastest-growing application in history. “We are at the iPhone moment of AI,” Huang said.
NVIDIA DGX supercomputers, originally used as an AI research instrument, are now running 24/7 at businesses across the world to refine data and process AI, Huang reported. Half of all Fortune 100 companies have installed DGX AI supercomputers.
“DGX supercomputers are modern AI factories,” Huang said.
“Overall GPT-4 is unambiguously ahead of the others, though depending on the context Claude and Bard can be competitive.”
Adobe launcht AI Tool Firefly
“Adobe says that artwork created using Firefly models will contain metadata indicating that it’s partially — or wholly — AI-generated. That’s a practical consideration as well as a legal one; artists on platforms such as ArtStation have staged protests to voice their discontent with the torrent of new AI-generated art, while China recently became the first country to ban AI-generated media without watermarks.”
“Adobe’s solution, as it were, is training Firefly models exclusively on content from Adobe Stock, the company’s royalty-free media library, along with openly licensed and public domain content where the copyright has expired. In the future, users will be able to train and fine-tune Firefly models using their own content, Adobe says — steering the models’ outputs toward specific styles and design languages.”
Runway launcht Text-to-Video
